Happy Goth Girl Rising Day!

The book has been slowly making its way into stores for a couple of weeks now, but today is the official publication day for Goth Girl Rising! Which means that the book should be in stores everywhere. (Note that I said "should." If it isn't in your local store, ask the nice folks behind the counter to order a copy for you. They should be happy to do so.)

I hope everyone out there enjoys the book. I know that many of you have been waiting since the original publication of The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl for this book to come out. Well, it's here! So go have some fun with it.

To celebrate, I've added a couple of pages to the site, under the Goth Girl Rising item in the Novels menu. First up is a Reviews page, where I've posted excerpts from some of the reviews the book has received to date. I'm happy to report that -- so far -- people seem to like it.

Secondly, I've posted a deleted scene from the book. I don't think it really has any spoilers in it, but it will probably make more sense if you read the book first.

Look out world, Kyra's here--and she's angry!

I think I've already told you far too many times how much I love this book, but I'll say it one more time in honor of the release: I really, really love this book! I read it in one of those, "it's 2am-and I have to work tomorrow-but-CAN'T STOP READING!" sessions, and I'm already desperate to reread it.

Well done you--you deserve all the praise you can get for this amazing book. Here's hoping GGR will be a best seller! *fingers crossed*
