Memory Monday - Super-heroes Aren't Real

Posted on: 05/16/11

One of the things I loved about the DC comics of my youth was the alternate worlds multiverse the stories encompassed. I won't get into the whole cosmology of it here, but it was cool.

And I loved the fact that "our" world -- the real world -- was part of the DC Multiverse, given the name Earth-Prime: A sad little parallel world in which there were no super-heroes...except in the comic books.

Which leads to this panel, when supervillain Per Degaton winds up on Earth-Prime and tries to find some super-powered butt to kick...

Per Degaton in the real world!
