New Jersey Library Association 2011

Posted on: 05/05/11

NJLA sort of sounds -- to my comic-book-addled brain -- like a new super-hero team. Maybe the "New Justice League of America." Or something like that.

But it actually stands for New Jersey Library Association, which organization was kind enough to invite me to a panel along with my writer-pals Eireann Corrigan and Susane Colasanti. They booked for a double-session, meaning the three of us spoke for almost two hours. At the end, the librarians applauded and very politely pretended that they did NOT want to shoot us or themselves.

Some pix for y'all (click to enlarge):

Broooooce!

A bust on the grounds of the conference site. Someday I, too, shall be known as a "soulful humanitarian."

How I wish we were a team of superheroes. :D I just wanted to say thanks for being there. I really enjoyed the panel! I read (and loved!) Geektastic but didn't make the connection when I first heard your name. GeekAuthors are the best! (AuthorGeeks?)
